Questions about buying a foreclosed home?

Written on January 11, 2010

I looked at a foreclosed home that I really like. The problem is they are asking way, way to much for it. They want 90,000 and it needs some repairs. Some of the problems include missing shingles, gutter replacement, carpet, etc. Do banks ever come down significantly on these?
These are some good tips and advice. This home is marked about twice as much as it should be in the condition it’s in. I will probably have to move on to something else.
