Considering purchase of a foreclosed home?
Written on April 28, 2010
I would be a first time home buyer. I am considering purchasing a foreclosed home in Southern Ohio. There are several on the market and I have visited several but have not contacted a realtor yet. Many bank owned properties are already represented by a realtor. What are the advantages/disadvantages to using the bank’s realtor? Should I definitely go and find my own or is it safe to use the realtor already selling the house?
When a house is “as-is, no disclosure” does it really matter? Since technically they tell you nothing anyway…right?
Thanks
