I saw a specific foreclosed home that I was very interested in on multiple foreclosed websites. I found the Realtor selling the home, then when I checked the website for the Realtor’s listing of the home she had the price $60k higher then on the foreclosed websites that I had seen.

I am looking into buy a foreclosed home. The asking price is $154,000. The home was built in 1790, and is need of a lot of work. It’s a 7 bedroom 2 bath, and has always been my dream home, and because it JUST went up for sale, I’m trying to jump [...]

I’m just kind of curious about whether most people would feel okay (morally) purchasing a home that was foreclosed on another family. In other words, do folks view it as benefiting from someone else’s misfortune?
